Zoë Nixon

Art has been my passion ever since I was little. I was always drawing horses in the margins of my school work and spent all my free time drawing my pets instead of playing outside or my violin. Art faded away for many years as I worked in the Alberta Oil sector as an AutoCAD draftsperson, then extensively homeschooling our son through to graduation. I revived my love of drawing while working on a pipeline project where there was quite a lot of downtime in between panic. My easel was the steering wheel of the work truck and graphite and colour pencil was the perfect medium to be able to drop at a moment's notice. I have now made art my passion. I love to capture precious moments and it gives me great joy to see a client get emotional over a portrait. Allow me to create the perfect gift or memorial piece for you.
