Art has been a lifelong passion, first expressed through countless sketches of animals in the margins of schoolwork. While early artistic pursuits gave way to a career in the Alberta oil sector, the creative spark remained. It was during a pipeline project—with its unpredictable pace and long stretches of downtime—that artistic passion was rediscovered. The steering wheel of a work truck often served as an easel, and graphite and colored pencil became the ideal medium for capturing fleeting inspiration.
Now working as a professional artist, and a juried member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, the focus is on creating deeply personal portraits that preserve cherished memories. Whether as a meaningful gift or a memorial piece, each work is crafted with care, attention to detail, and emotional depth—bringing moments to life and often moving clients with the results.
